I have been with this surgery for 4 years and have always been treated with respect by friendly professional people, i have needed to visit the surgery frequently for the last 3 months, the gp's have been excellent, with several health problems I have always been given time to explain and had the diagnosis and medication to comfort my concerns.

The locum doctor Dr Glew and his trainee doctor I saw this morning were absolutely charming and informative. Well done Barn Surgery.

I started ringing from 8 am and continued to call 84 times before getting through at 8.31! When I eventually got through I was told there was NO appointments. This is fine however the receptionist could hear I was using the only available bit of my voice. She wasn't helpful. She didn't offer me Miami clinic and didn't want to help me one bit! The new call and book system does not work when the surgery is operating a small town!!!

Would like to suggest a water cooler is installed having spent 2 hours in an exessively hot waiting room. Would have melted if not for the receptionist providing water.
